Jesse Marple
Founder, Lead Developer & Project Manager
Jesse has dedicated his career to assisting businesses, educational institutions and not-for-profits find solutions that establish a new level of proficiency and functionality with their technology assets. His work at Washington State University's Distance Degree Programs and Disability Resource Center helped push forward new technologies that brought courses and classes to distant parts of the globe and made education available to students with disabilities. Having worked at several start-ups, he brings indispensable knowledge and experience that benefits any small businesses. Additionally, he has contributed to small and large not-for-profits, assisting with everything from migration, security, database development, technical support to web and application development.
Angela Poire
Co-founder & Project Manager
Angela attended Washington State University where she studied applied Economics and Accounting. Interested in the 'new' Web 2.0 Economy, she joined Zocalo Consulting full-time in 2006. Specializing in Technology Grant Writing, Fundraising/Project Management, Database Management and Administration, Search Engine Optimization, and Web 'Branding', Angela's multifaceted approach to project management has allowed Zocalo to meet and exceed client expectations.
Jerry Schutz
SEO Specialist and Brand Manager
Since 2006, Jerry has been involved in bringing his knowledge of branding, marketing and search engine optimization to Zocalo. Having managed and directed several non-profits and businesses, Jerry brings considerable expertise in the areas of fundraising, organizational management, small business establishment and marketing. He's also an amazing gardener.
Robin Storesund
Lead Designer, Illustrator and Interface Developer
Robin has been responsible for the creation of quite a few of our design projects including both print and electronic media. Her 30+ years of experience in the print and publishing industry have given her an eye for design, layout and branding that is unparalleled in our experience. She utilizes Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and FreeHand extensively and frequently contributes to the Illustrator community with tutorials and techniques. Designer and Developer
While relatively new to development, Steve is a master designer whose sights are set on making code his next conquest. Our most recent hire, Steve comes to Zocalo with an awesome eye for detail and a tenacious approach to delivering amazing results for our clients. Steve possesses an understanding of what makes thoughtful design translate to an incredible user experience.
Alex Marple
Usability Testing and Design
Alex joined Zocalo in 2009 to help keep our UI (user interfaces) and UX (user experiences) simple, useful and effective. Alex leads the way in usability testing at Zocalo, providing a safeguard against any of us looking bad. In addition to his duties as chief bug finder, Alex contributes to the design aesthetic of our projects. (No joke, that picture is Alex wearing a bee keepers' suit)
Erick Reddekopp
Information Systems and Services
Erick really is our hero. When it comes to hardware services and support, Erick is the one that saves the day. Erick brings considerable experience with desktop and server (both Mac and PC) hardware and networking (LAN/WAN) solutions. He's a champion of convincing people the need to 'back up your data!' We frequently find ourselves calling on him to help us in developing complete solutions for our clients needs. Erick runs Geeks4Mac when he's not fighting crime (kidding!).
Colby Leonard
Designer
Colby joined Zocalo in 2008 to put her experience and education as an artist to work. Her incredible talents can be seen throughout Zocalo's project. When she's not pushing pixels around the screen she can be found tattooing her latest masterpiece.
